Juice Fast

Greetings,

I did a juice fast for 11 days a couple of years ago.  Believe it or not, after the fast I had MORE energy.  While there are several reasons one would do a juice fast, my primary reason was to detoxify my body.  You may (or may not) be asking yourself, “what’s a juice fast?”

A juice fast is a type of detox “diet.”  A juice fast involves the short-term intake of raw vegetable and fruit juice and water only.  A juice fast follows a system of cleansing and restoration.  Fresh juices play an important role with virtually any regime to cleanse the body and restore vitality.  With a juice fast, nutrients are supplied in a concentrated, raw, and unprocessed form that is easy to consume and digest, making juice and ideal companion to fasting and health maintenance regimens.
